The 10/40 Window
This website
http://www.1040window.org/main/whatis.htm is devoted to an emphasis in
praying for and evangelizing this mostly unreached area of the world. Praying
Through The Window is a 31-day world-wide prayer initiative that focuses
strategic prayer on the spiritually impoverished area of the world know as the
10/40 window. This imaginary window extends from 10 degrees north to 40 degrees
north of the equator, stretching from Western Africa to Eastern Asia.
While people in the West have an excellent chance to be exposed to the Gospel many times, those living in the 10/40 Window have almost no chance of ever hearing the Gospel -- even once!
