DESCRIPTION OF MINISTRY

Tuesday Mornings:  Faithful Men.

Meets every Tuesday Morning from 5:30 to 7:00 AM, Bldg 4, Room 108.  Faithful Men focuses on small groups.  We are currently “running” two groups and plan on growing to three groups in the Winter of 2003/2004.  The forum for Faithful Men is STUDY (e.g., share insights on Christian-based readings), Overall Sharing, and PRAYER.  We share the facilitator position.  WE ENCOUGAGE MEN TO JOIN US ANY TIME. Thursday Evenings:  Men's Prayer and Accountability Group.

Meets every Thursday Evening at RBBC from 7:30 to 8:30 PM. 

Men’s Fellowship Breakfast:

Meets every third Saturday from 8:00 to 9:00 AM, Bldg 4, Room 108.  Meet for Fellowship, a Great Breakfast (Pancakes, "RBBC" Eggs, Juice, Coffee, Fruit, Oatmeal (sometimes) and Grits, or Breakfast Burritos, juice, and Grits, or Biscuits and Gravy, or Special Guest Chef Breakfast Cuisine), Guest Speaker, Sharing, and Prayer.

RBBC’s Men’s Annual Retreat: 

The RBBC Men’s Annual Retreat takes place the first weekend of February of each year.  This retreat attracts over 145 attendees for Friday night and all day Saturday.  We hold the retreat at a local 4-H Camp.  The retreat consists of Fellowship, Worship, Godly Men Teaching, Testimonies, Lord’s Supper, Meals, and Serious Junk Food.

Other RBBC Men’s Ministry Opportunities:  Promise Keepers, Mentoring, Accountability Partners.

WHY DOES THIS MINISTRY EXIST?

Facilitate Spiritual Growth by sharing through men's Bible studies, men's groups, men's fellowships, men's retreats, and mentoring/accountability relationships by the way of sharing ideas, struggles and blessings while encouraging each other, and holding each other accountable.
