Chris Quinlan’s bio
I was born and raised in the Ft. Walton Beach area. I graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in 1988. I went to the University of Florida and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 1994. I developed a love for computer graphics while in college and later pursued Graphic Design as a career choice. I worked my way up the graphic design ladder in the Ft. Walton Beach area and eventually was hired by the church as the Multimedia Specialist. I have now been on staff full-time for almost 4 years.
I became a Christian in the fall of 1997. I committed my life to following Christ on the Destin bridge in the middle of the night. I saw immediate fruit from my conversion, which some of that being a desire for Christian fellowship which led me to Rocky. I had come from a Christian home, but had never attended a Baptist Church. This was the first church I had ever seen where I saw most of the people genuinely desiring to follow after Christ. At first, I was at church every time the doors were open, then I found myself wanting to serve. I signed up to teach Sunday School and joined the choir. The singles ministry at RBBC was also a key part of my early Christian life. I am currently focusing my ministry service at Rocky in the area of Youth Ministry.

I married Kimberley in August of 2003. About a year later, our first child, Ryan Matthew, was born. He came into the world a little early (He was 7 weeks premature.) Kimm and I are expecting our second child in December. His name is Alexander James.
My job responsibilities at Rocky include: Designing and maintaining the church website; Maintaining, upgrading, and overseeing the network of computers; Designing all types of advertisements, posters, flyers and publications for the church including the bi-weekly newsletter; Organizing and publishing the church photo directory; Creation of promotional videos for the various ministries; and overseeing in-house printing and computer related budget lines.
