We are delighted that you have chosen to worship with us. Membership at RBBC is open to all who have received the Lord Jesus Christ and have confessed Him publicly through believer’s baptism. Baptism is a picture of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism by immersion identifies the Christian with the Lord Jesus Christ. It also pictures the believer’s death to self, sin and the world, and the new life we have in Christ.

To request church membership, simply come forward at the invitation time near the close of the worship service. You may come to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, to request baptism, to transfer your church membership, or come by your statement of faith in Christ and previous baptism.

We feel it is important for members of RBBC to know the leadership and understand what being a part of this fellowship is all about. All adults requesting membership will have their membership confirmed after completing the Introduction to RBBC Seminar. This 1 1/2 hour seminar is offered every other month at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights in the Conference Room. Pastors and Elders will share about Rocky and what it means to be a member here. You will have an opportunity to learn about our purpose, our mission, and our vision. A pastor will share about how Rocky is governed and explain our Constitution and By-laws. You will also have the opportunity to learn about our Core Values. View contents of the seminar here.

Confirmed members will agree to complete the Foundations of the Faith course. This is a 10-week course offered on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m., and at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings in the Conference Room. It is taught primarily by our Associate Pastor, Dale Julio. The studies include: The Bible, Attributes of God, The Nature and Ministry of Jesus, The Holy Spirit, Salvation, The Church, Christian Living, Witnessing, Prayer, and Stewardship. The lessons have proven extremely helpful to both new and long-time Christians. It is taught on a continual basis and you can begin with any lesson and cycle through.  Lessons are viewable online here. (Classes still required)

One of our mottos is, "Every member a minister." In order to find your place of service, we have designed the Member to Minister Seminar. This seminar will be offered every other month on a Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m. It is designed to assist members in identifying their place of ministry at RBBC. It is taught by ministerial staff. This is a fun and informative class which helps you to learn about your spiritual gifts. It helps you determine where your passions are and how to use them for the glory and honor of God and for the building up of the Body of Christ at Rocky.
